Item Description
Pair of original first and only printing posters for Grateful Dead concerts. Family Dog FD-82 is for Sept. 22-23, 1967 concerts that took place in Denver, CO. featuring The Grateful Dead and Mother Earth. 14x20", this is Type 1 as noted by small "No81-1" designation at lower left. A second type was printed w/a Denver ticket outlet strip. Art by Dennis Nolan features great skull image w/nose featuring man's face. Exc. Bill Graham BG-154 is for Jan. 2-4, 1969 concerts that took place at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA. featuring The Grateful Dead, Blood Sweat and Tears as well as Spirit. Art By Randy Tuten (his first Bill Graham poster) features composite images of photo of The Queen Mary passenger ship, drawing of bus stop as viewed through open door. Poster has moderate handling wear at center left and corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall.
