The highlight of this lot is a complete set of 1987 Donruss cards comprised of five uncut sheets w/132 cards per sheet. Although Topps uncut sheets from this era are fairly common, all Donruss sheets from the 1980s are scarce. Even more importantly, this Donruss set is widely regarded in the hobby as being the premiere rookie card set of its era. Among the key rookie cards are: Greg Maddux (HOF), Barry Larkin (HOF), Barry Bonds, Bo Jackson, David Cone, Will Clark, Wally Joyner, Bobby Bonilla, Ruben Sierra, Kevin Mitchell, Jamie Moyer and many others. Condition of these sheets averages EX with one sheet having a 2" inch tear along one edge but not interfering with any of the major rookie cards. HOF rookie card collectors will appreciate the second part of this lot which consists of a 1983 Topps sheet (132 cards) which includes the desirable Tony Gwynn (HOF) rookie. Other HOF cards include: Rod Carew, Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt, Carl Yastrzemski, Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Johnny Bench, Rickey Henderson and more. Condition of this sheet is EX. Rounding out the lot is a group of five 1988 Pacific Baseball Legends sheets, each consisting of 110 cards which represents a complete set per uncut sheet or a total of five complete sets. Numerous Hall of Famers and other stars are included from the 1940s to 1970s such as: Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Harmon Killebrew, Hank Aaron, Yogi Berra, Roy Campanella, Mickey Mantle, Ernie Banks, Johnny Bench, Willie Mays, Ted Williams and many more.
