Item Description
16 of 17 in the set, each is a 2.25" button w/celluloid covered front and tin back. These feature the bread labels from this 1950s Wonder Bread set (see item #2474). They were specially and specifically made for promotional use and done in very limited quantities. We have offered others in the past for Hoppy, Gene Autry, Donald Duck and others but never a single one for Howdy, let alone a near set. 15 feature character portraits (missing only Oil Well Willie) plus one that promotes the entire series and shows Howdy holding the Clarabell label. Tin backs have variying degress of silver luster loss, "Princess" has some oxidation. Fronts are bright and glossy w/minimal wear. Overall VF. A rarity for Howdy, button and bread label collectors alike.
