Item Description
8.75" dia. by 1.5" deep tin litho w/attached handle. Ohio Art, 1930s. Wrap-around design features different beach scenes w/Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. A Mickey Mouse sand pail and shovel can be seen in one scene. Scattered rim wear in the form of nicks/scratches w/thin area of bare metal showing on underside of bottom rim, but still nicer than typically found. Sides remain bright and clean. Fine/VF. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
