27.25x41" one-sheet poster for the original release of the 1956 Donald Duck animated short, the second to last Disney cartoon to be distributed by RKO Pictures. This is also the second to last regular Disney theatrical cartoon to feature Donald Duck in a starring role. "Chips Ahoy" is one of several Donald Duck cartoons to feature Chip 'n' Dale as the secondary characters. Poster features the mischievous chipmunk pair on a boat in admiral and sailor hats as an angry-looking Donald peers down at them. Poster was originally folded and has 1" vertical tear at top center margin, but as linen-mounted, tear and fold lines blend and are only noticeable upon close inspection. Poster has lt. even aging, but poster is bright and clean w/vibrant color and displays Exc. as linen-mounted. Choice condition.
