Item Description
Set of prototype Draconian shoulder armor designed for the "Draconian Guards" in the 1979-80 NBC TV first season of "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century". Prop armor is a fiberglass material designed to have metal chains attaching several plates together and was plated gold. A few chain links on back piece. This differs from the screen used armor that was painted dark gold instead. A unique piece from the creative process of prop design. Eight separate pieces that could be attached together for display. Scattered aging from years of storage with minor chipping and scratches to gold plating with some small cracks but shoulder armor displays VF overall. Comes with a COA from "The Museum of Mom & Pop Culture" signed by curator Alan J. Adler. Also includes a Draconian waist guard worn by various actors playing "Draconian Guards" in various episodes of the show. Prop two piece waist guard is burgundy colored material with metal studs and a black padded underside. Scattered aging and lt. wear from use but waist guard is VF overall.
