9.25x15.75x1.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains set by Home Foundry Manufacturing Co. Inc. 1930s. Smaller of two sets produced. Box has some aging and scattered wear but is complete including insert. Inside lid has scattered paint marks. Some dust soiling and corner tip wear but these boxes are typically well worn w/corner splits. This is not the case here, w/a much above average example w/tight corners. Fine. Set is missing catalog, block of lead casting material and paint bottle but includes the three pre-made example figures of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Pluto and is o/w complete. Includes the two-piece mold w/pair of handles, clamp, electric ladle w/base and paint brush. Molds are for Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. The two-piece mold shows lt. wear and retains bright luster. VF/Exc. overall. The other components show wear from use and are Fine-VF.
