Item Description
7.5" tall painted pressed steel toy telephone w/3" tall thick die-cut cardboard Mickey Mouse figure attachment. N.N. Hill Brass Co. c. 1934. N.N. Hill produced a number of different Disney telephone toys including several variations of Mickey phones one of which was a bank, but this is the standard toy phone-only variety w/painted, not plated receiver. Rotary dial w/bell. Original cord attaches painted wood handset to base. Mickey figure has edge wear and scattered aging. Creasing at one foot w/some separation of cardboard layers. VG/Fine. Red painted parts have small scattered paint nicks while silvered metal dial shows moderate oxidation w/heavy wear to printed cardboard disc underneath. Stick is a bit loose but still attached. VG/Fine overall. Rare candlestick variety, only the second we've offered in our 48 years.
