Item Description
18x27.25" half-sheet poster featuring Tim McCoy riding horseback and being followed by group of cowboys and Native Americans. Printed by Erie Litho, c. 1936, his first season w/Ringlings. Promotional text includes "This Season - Presenting The Screen's Greatest Western Star - Col. Tim McCoy Personally Leading His Thrilling Congress Of Rough Riders And Indians At Every Performance." Native American design along left margin. Poster has two heavy ripples to paper by Native Americans image and text above it; this appears to be as printed. Small penciled date at upper left margin. Poster has been folded, though fold lines are faint aside from top center. Margins show scattered wear w/pin holes at corners. Bottom margin has 1/8" hole at center. Fine overall.
