Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 11" long cast metal road construction vehicle. Hubley Kiddie Toy 481. 1950s. Box design includes "Play Features" illustrated on one panel including front wheels which turn, spring/notch construction that holds scraper in place, rear wheels constructed to produce a rocking motion. Box shows moderate handling wear w/creasing and both inner flaps at one end are partially missing w/tears to end flap. VG/Fine but still attractive w/bright silver accent color. Scraper is painted cast metal w/solid rubber tires while scraper blade and wheel assembly are plated metal. Small spots of both sides of Scraper body as rubbed by rear wheel assembly, but o/w Exc. Other illustrated cardboard box contains 10" long painted cast metal free-wheeling dump truck w/open vinyl wheels. Hubley No. 801. 1960s. Box notes "Dump Body Raises And Tail Gate Opens Automatically When Lever Is Thrown Forward." Box shows scattered wear w/corner creasing and masking tape on one end flap. Fine overall. Front of dump bed has some scattered paint flakes but truck is o/w VF/Exc.
