Large 39x77" rug, one of a series of well-made, thick cotton nap rugs manufactured in Belgium and sold in furniture stores, gift shops and at the Disney theme parks in the early 1970s. Rug features wonderful picnic scene w/Mickey and Minnie Mouse looking off into distance as they unpack their lunch. Rug shows even aging and some lt. wear, two side edges have had binding tape added. Fine/VF. Larger size rugs such as this were priced fairly high and are scarce as such. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
