Original illustrated cardboard box contains 10" long hard plastic car w/chrome-plated metal accents on sides and "Bomber Bubble" convertible top. Friction motor. This is first version by Mattel, ©1953. Box text includes "The Only Car Of Its Kind In The World Of Toys - Plastic 'Bomber Bubble' Convertible Toy - Speed Streak Friction Motor - Permanent Highly Polished Chrome Trim - 4 Futuristic Colors." Box has some lt. wear w/creases at corners but retains its shape and is VF overall. Comes w/folded instructions for removing convertible top. This is cream color w/cream/red interior and translucent green plastic/chrome convertible top. Car has smooth working friction motor. NM, old store stock. See following items #1239-1240.
