Item Description
Pair of tin litho racecars by Marx. Smaller 5" long racer w/built-in key and separate tin driver from the shoulders up. From a late 1940s series of Marx racers issued w/different numbers and in different color combinations. Included here is blue #3 racer w/black "balloon" two-piece metal tires. Toy works and travel forward when wound. Racer has overall lt. wear w/a few paint nicks/scratches. Fine. Larger 16.5" long "Marx Super Streamline Racer" w/built-in key is from the 1950s. Toy is tin litho w/front rubber bumper. Missing hard plastic driver figure and no longer works. Despite this, toy remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. for display. Nice large size racer.
