Item Description
Lot of four 3.5x5-5/8" postcards featuring Superman and Tim. One card is undated but bears 1945 postmark. Others are ©1946, 1947, 1948 Superman, Inc. 1945 card features great illustration of Superman and Tim delivering birthday cake in jeep. Typed recipient name/address. 1946 card features unused connect-the-dots game and reverse has "Garber Brothers" store imprint. Handwritten recipient name/address in ink. 1947 card features nice illustration of Superman and Tim w/anthropomorphic globe and birthday cake. 1948 card features four panel comic and reverse has "Snellenburg's" store imprint. Both 1947/1948 cards have typed recipient name/address. All were postally issued and have some scattered handling wear/aging. Fine-VF overall. Franco Toscanini Collection.
