Item Description
6.75" tall tin litho toy depicts The Lone Ranger seated on back of rearing Silver. Lone Ranger holds wire lasso in hand over his head that spins when mechanism is activated. Lower arm is jointed by tiny tab into the shoulder to swing freely during operation. Left side (side Lone Ranger is facing) has simulated banner w/"The Lone Ranger – Hi-Yo Silver!" text while opposite side has Marx Toys logo and ©1938 The Lone Ranger, Inc. Key wind action causes Silver to prance in circular fashion while Lone Ranger vigorously swings wire lasso. Toy was produced w/Silver in either silver luster metal or white paint variety, this is silver luster metal version. Original wire lasso but w/some minor bends. Noticeable luster loss to front of Silver’s legs, o/w typical scattered paint nicks and scratches. Glossy. Fine.
