Item Description
Lot of six. First is 9" tall mechanical embossed Valentine by Rafael Tuck & Son. Printed in Germany. Tiny brass pins act as hinges for Mama's shoulders, hands, and feet. All are attached to tiny, original string. 1" clear tape reinforcement where string attaches to her shoulders on back. Mechanical action works fine. Original 1" ribbon attached to top of head for hanging. Repair to arm of left child. Tip of shoe missing. Not noticeable on this bright, glossy, wonderful item. VF. Second and third item are 11.5" tall mechanical die-cut cardboard figures. Light surface dust. Mechanical action works well. Next is 5.5x8" unfolded postcard with text including "Compliments of Hearst Boston Sunday American." Also "Moving Picture Comic Postcard Supplement Of Hearst Boston Sunday American." Copyright 1906. 1/8x.5" corner missing at top. Light surface dust. Fine. Last two items are 3.5x5.5" folded mechanical postcards from similar series credited to New York Sunday American & Journal. Light handling wear, copyright 1906. Fine. A nice, colorful group from the Gary Selmonsky collection.
