Item Description
10x14" cardboard box lid only. No side panels so displays flat. Reverse has directions. Made by Milton Bradley, copyright 1925. 1x3.5" bend above the word "Game." Printed surface remains attached but surface paper separated. Illustration remains glossy and bright. Would frame very fine. Lot also consists of 8 die-cut figures. Each is 2-3/8" wide, height ranges from 4" to 8.5". Each printed figure is attached to heavy cardboard backing and .5" square piece of wood attached to bottom back. Wood allows character to stand upright for game use. Bottom of each character has text "Copyright 1925 By Int'l Feature Service Inc." Each character has name identified on their clothing. Included are "Happy/Gloomy Gus/Mr. Dough/Montmorency/The Cop/Boitram/Foidinand/Hoiman." Scattered minor ripple in surface paper, noticeable under close inspection. Colors remain bright and clean. VF. From the Gary Selmonsky collection.
