Item Description
4.5x12x4.75" tall painted wooden car w/"Speedy Felix" name on grille. Nifty, distributed by Borgfeldt, c. 1931. Felix the Cat driver figure pops up and down when pulled by included original string w/wooden knob. Felix has metal arms, axles and motion mechanism. Original worn fabric ears, radiator cap and headlights. Bellows have small hole, so no longer produces noise. This could be easily repaired if so desired. Back of car has complete decal that reads "Felix © 1924 By Pat. Sullivan - Pat June 3, 1925." Underside has near complete Nifty decal. Moderate paint wear to Felix's head, Felix is Fine overall while car retains a nice appearance overall and is VF. Scarce.
