Item Description
Pair of 8.5x11" letters on matching "Fawcett Publications Incorporated" letterheads w/President W.H. Fawcett Jr. and Vice President/General Manager Roger Fawcett printed names at top. Each features full figure image of Captain Marvel standing next to sign w/text addressed to "Mr. Manufacturer." Each features totally different text. One mentions "Capt. Marvel Adventure Comics" while the other mentions "Captain Marvel Adventures Comics" and "Whiz Comics." Early 1940s. Both have lt. margin aging and staple holes at top left as well as small penciled number. First letter has 1.75" heavy crease at bottom left. Fine-VF. Rare. Don Maris Collection.
