Item Description
29.25x42.75" one-sheet for 1950s Imperial Films re-release of the 1941 Republic 12-Chapter film serial which starred Tom Tyler in the titular role of Captain Marvel and Frank Coghlan, Jr. as his alter-ego Billy Batson. Poster features "Imperial Films" crown logo and all-new art depicting Captain Marvel pursuing spaceship through city as serial's villain The Scorpion appears at lower right. The powerful ray weapon shaped like a large metallic scorpion can be seen at bottom left. Bottom center has chapter listing in Spanish. Poster was originally folded, but as linen-mounted, fold lines appear minimal and do not distract. Poster appears to have had little to no touch-ups done and displays Exc.
