Item Description
The spoon is 4.5” long and very finely detailed including his portrait on the handle front while below are details of an American flag and the slogans “Sound Money/Protection/Prosperity” with the bowl showing detailed image of the White House. Reverse shows U.S. Capitol on the handle while the back of the bowl has finely detailed replica of the Presidential seal. Made by “Moore & Leding” with a patent date of Feb. 23, 97. Exc. Second item consists of 1.25” McKinley real photo button with tin back and vertical pin with suspended ribbon joining a 1.75” celluloid covered medallion with a tin reverse. The suspended piece has blue paper outer circle naming the event “Souvenir Peace Jubilee Philadelphia, 1898” while at center is large sepia real photo reading “For Governor Of Penna. Col. Wm. A. Stone.” This rare piece is Exc. and displays Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
