Item Description
This 1.25” button is unlisted in Hake. The full slogan around the rim is “The Right Men/In The Right Place At The Right Time.” Pictured below the date of 1775 is Washington, pictured on the left flag with date of 1861 is Lincoln, pictured on the right flag with date of 1865 is Grant, while below are “McKinley/Roosevelt/For President & Vice President.” On the reverse is the correct back paper, although someone long ago drew a pencil circle around its outer edge, but the text remains clear and reads “Trade Orders Filled By Designer And Owner, Capt. Willis, Cor. Leonard & Winter Sts. Cleveland, O. Copyrighted.” A beautiful example of a very scarce button.
