Item Description
Hake #2067. 3.5” with concave tin reverse which has four tiny holes that once held a pair of thin wires so the piece could be attached to a car or other object. Curl names maker Bastian. In addition to the four mounting holes on the reverse on the far center left of the grey background a 1/8” diameter hole has been neatly drilled through the entire piece. Additional light wear includes a light scuff line from his eye on the left going 1.75” on slight diagonal to the lower right. Also a tan small mark on the union bug at right. On the letter “D” of president is a 1/16” speck of surface dirt. The bit of browning on his white collar and the letters below was surface dirt now very much removed. The piece still has strong gloss. Overall fine. Rare. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
