Item Description
First picturing an owl and reading “Hoo Hoo Hoover For President” is a .75” with union bug on the curl and initials of the Pittsburgh company A.G. Trimble. Reverse has four very tiny and barely seen cello splits with celluloid laying perfectly flat. On the front of the button there is a light tan mark on two letters of “Hoover” and a small mark on the letter “N” of “President.” The button still displays extremely well and with full gloss. This is Hake #107 with 2004 guide value of $277. Second at 1.25” and with back paper by Brunt is scarce slogan button “Answer Hoover’s Call.” Reverse has pair of trivial 1/16” or less cello splits by the collet. Front is glossy and essentially Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
