Item Description
Lot of six items including 11x14" poster w/text at top reading "The Lone Ranger Says: Join The Peace Patrol" w/text at bottom reading "Buy U.S. Savings Stamps At Your School Or Post Office." Two archival tape repairs on reverse to .25" and 1" tears. Fine. 8x10.5" mimeographed letter dated Sept. 4, 1958 comes w/four glossy 8x10" promotional photos. Letter content explains photos "Featuring The Lone Ranger, Evelyn Rudie And Mr. Olesen" posing for "The Peace Patrol Campaign." Rudie grew up to become a playwright, director, songwriter, actress and teacher. Photos are numbered LR-TD-3, 4, 9, 10 and each show "Join The Peace Patrol" Lone Ranger poster included w/this lot. Two show Lone Ranger handing Rudie Peace Patrol membership card. Each photo is slightly curled w/minimal handling wear. Exc. All are rare in this unique lot.
