Item Description
Large 17.5x44.75" tri-fold cardboard display for 1982 promotion by Bonneau/SunSensor sun-change sunglasses lenses. Grand prize included Western vacation. Other prizes included $1,000 in silver dollars, Panasonic VCR and 30 Kodak Colorburst 50 instant cameras (shown w/photos of Moore). Display features great image of Clayton Moore wearing sunglasses in each panel. Scattered edge wear and some color rubs, but Fine/VF overall. Display is scarce. 6.75x8-5/8" glossy paper newspaper clipping features photo image of Moore wearing glasses. Bottom right of clipping featured scratch-off sunglasses image/entry. Promotion was done during the time Moore was unable to wear mask due to legal battle w/the Wrather Corp. As a result of this, he wore dark sunglasses to take the place of the mask and in turn SunSensor offered him this endorsement deal. Clipping has been signed in black felt tip pen by Moore, who added "Lone Ranger" character name. Signed in-person. Clipping edges are a bit uneven as clipped. VF, w/Exc. signature. A unique signed piece. Comes with Hake's COA.
