Item Description
First with very fancy brass luster frame and handle has beautifully colored 3” celluloid at center with text “The Daily Mirror.” Only minor luster loss from the frame. Only example we’ve seen and Exc. Second is brass frame and handle 8” tall which holds big 3.75” celluloid. Gold text is in Spanish but also names maker Parisian, Chicago. The gold text inscription at the bottom of the mirror has many extremely fine scratch lines over it but not too noticeable unless in angled light. On the woman there are a couple of tiny indents in the celluloid by her neck and a narrow ¼” oval on her hair that does not have the same gloss as the rest of the piece. The item still displays very well. Both are first we’ve seen.
