Item Description
First is scarce 7/8” button although we had an example in the previous auction which realized over $400. This came out of the same collection and is the only other example that was in that collection. It features a quail in autumn setting. There is a .5” hairline scratch across the neck of the quail which shows in most light angles but is very small and detracts little. The button is complete with its back paper reading “World’s Best Trap Load 3dr/Dupont.” With this comes .75” domed enamel and brass piece with threaded post and cap on reverse. Front has “100” and surrounding text is “Salt Lake Gun Club.” Difficult to date but probably 30s or earlier. Reverse reads “1/10 10K.” Mint. Last is 1” brass pin showing logo and with text “A Century Of Leadership/1866/1966/Winchester-Western.” Mint.
