Auction #216 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 977 in auction 216
Item Description
The metal badges are each steel with highly embossed driver serial number. The first three have a heavy safety pin fastener on the reverse while the remaining five have a pair of heavy metal tabs, each with a hole so that they can be wired to something. Metal badges carry the dates of 1924, 1925, 1927, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937. The photographic licenses are laminated in plastic as issued and these are 5-5/8” wide. Plastic has a bit of yellowish tone due to the nature of the material used at that time but all are in extremely nice condition with just slight handling wear. These are dated for 1931, 1932, 1933, and 1934. See taxi item #877.
