Item Description
1.5” tall with brass hanger inscribed with newspaper name “The World” and with link suspending embossed depiction of the world globe showing Western hemisphere overprinted by text “Santa Claus Club.” With this item come three printouts showing the Sunday, December 11, 1892 “Children’s Page” from “The World” newspaper. Printouts show the entire page, a detailed column about making gifts from inexpensive materials, an illustration of the badge itself and the illustrated order form which was sent in to acquire the badge for the cost of a stamp.
