Item Description
Two buttons, each 1.25". Backpaper in each button reads "Wear This Button. Watch For Lucky Numbers On Comic Pages Of New York Evening Journal For Valuable Prizes." Each button has "Offset Gravure Corp. NYC Made In USA" on edge curls. Both buttons have light all-over surface wear that only shows with magnification. Still display glossy and Exc. Member's card is 3.75x4.75". Card reads "Membership Card Member's Name Miss J. Fox Has Been Elected A Member Of The Popeye Club. The Only Rule Of The Club Is That All Members See What Popeye Is Doing Every Day In The New York Evening Journal." Other side has image of Popeye holdling paint bucket and paint brush and wording "This Sign Certikifies That The Bearer Is A Member Of The Evening Journal Popeye Club. Blow Me Down!" Card has one tiny loose corner and is overall Fine. First card we've seen.
