Item Description
Button is 1.25" and has light all-over surface wear that shows only with magnification. Still displays glossy and Exc. Reads "Popeye Is In The News Bee." No backpaper if it had one. Card is 2.25x3-7/8". 1930s. First card we've seen. Reads "Membership Card News-Bee Popeye Club Althea Sarnes Is A Member Of The Toledo-Bee Popeye Club And Is Entitled To All Rights And Privileges. Signed Popeye The Sailor President." Card has a couple of creases but clean and Fine.
