Item Description
Two 7/8" buttons marked "Popeye The Sailor A Paramount Picture" with copyright 1935 King Features Syndicate. Parisian Novelty Co. on edge curl. Both buttons glossy and N. Mint. Card is 3.75x5-7/8". Card translates loosely to: "This Is To Certify That Wouter V. Essen Of Sophiastraat 20, Zwolle Has Been Accepted As A Member Of My Club. Popeye." Card has a couple of darker green areas and small rust mark that are small where the two buttons were pinned for years. Card is still VF.
