Item Description
Most items are celluloid covered buttons ranging in size from 1.75” up to one at 3” picturing Angel Cordero Jr. Top row has seven buttons, each with a serial number, and designated with the words “Camera” or “Pass.” These are from tracks such as: Hollywood Turf Club, Santa Anita Park, and Hollywood Park. There are a pair of photo buttons showing “Ruffian” and “Foolish Pleasure” from the “Great Match.” At the lower left of the photo are seven enamel and brass badges with each top reading “Australian Jockey Club” and with all of them also designating a “Lady” or “Lady’s Badge.” Six of these also suspend a leather piece with a date and serial number. These pieces span 1942-1956. Items with a little visible age include the top row #6 “Pass” and the second row #4 and advertising button from Agway also naming horse “Seattle Slew.” Vast majority are Exc. to Mint.
