Item Description
The figural ball is 2-3/8”. Consists of two sheets of tin riveted together. Text includes “Root For The Home Team And Ride With The Hertz Stations/Operated By The Yellow Drivurself Co./A Nashville Company.” Each side of the scorer has either small dents or small raised areas but these are relatively minimal and while displaying a little age the piece certainly remains in at least Fine condition. This is an early piece relating to the Hertz Car Rental company which had its start in Chicago in 1918. The celluloid piece is 3.75” long advertising a bank in Skowhegan, Maine. Exc. and displays Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
