Item Description
11-1/8x17" thin Marvel Comics artboard features pen/ink and watercolor pin-up original art depicting DC Comic's Catwoman in her purple catsuit from the 1990s. Pin-up was created in 1995 by Michael Bair (real name Michael A. Hernandez), a comic book artist best-known for his work as an inker. His work includes Marvel Comics' "Alpha Flight" and DC Comics' "Hawkman." He often inks fellow artist Rags Morales' pencils (having done so since 2002), most notably on the high-profile miniseries "Identity Crisis." Bair's commissions are almost always pencil and ink, making this fully realized watercolor art even more special. This piece features amazing detail, Bair stressing the tightness of Catwoman's suit by detailing her nipples through the fabric. Bair has signed and dated art at lower left. Exc.
