Item Description
Pair of approx. 11.5x16" folios published for solicitation purposes. Each folio is filled w/wide variety of sample images and example blotters. First folio is dated for 1931 and inside front cover has attached envelope containing actual blotter and insert slip. Envelope is covered in penciled figures. Examples include landscapes, flowers, animals, women, cartoon images, etc. Vertical fold through folio. Fine overall w/VF contents. Second folio is dated Feb. 3, 1937 on "Joseph Hoover & Sons Company" typed letter in attached envelope inside front cover. Envelope also contains three different sized blotter examples. Images include pin-ups, pretty women, children, landscapes and more; one features Statue of Liberty. Vertical fold through folio. Fine overall w/VF contents.
