Item Description
First is 2.25" with hand done calligraphy "1984" on the button paper under the cello. Union bug from typographical union "Austin 824" and reverse has hand painted "130 Austin Minn". This matches up to a union in Austin, MN a small town of under 30,000 people. Faint diagonal scratch less than 1" long at center between portraits otherwise only scattered surface wear and a few tiny surface nicks consistent with being in a bag with other buttons. Exc. Second is Badge-A-Minit construction with cojoined jugate featuring Ferraro on left and Mondale on right. Reverse has sticker reading "Prpd & Pd For By Olm Co DFL". This references Olmsted County which contains the city of Rochester. NM displaying Mint. Both Rare. Julie Powell Collection.
