Item Description
Original 9.5x11.5x6.5" deep Revell cardboard shipping box contains factory-painted/assembled store display consisting of 16 different pieces w/total of 19 hard plastic soldiers. Revell, c. 1955. Box is complete w/original die-cut cardboard insert used to protect and lift/lower display into/out of box. Box has some lt. wear and was opened at bottom. VF. Die-cut bkg. set up to resemble battleground, w/advancing soldiers, explosions and broken trees illustrations. Display sits atop illustrated cardboard base and appears to have had little to no use. Exc. Comes w/8.25x22" illustrated paper sign advertising "19 Tough Fighting Men And Latest Equipment!" Sign includes Revell logo and painted battle scenes including Patton-like general in tank as well as showing diagram of Revel soldiers and equipment including M-4 Sherman tank and Long Tom gun and tractor. Two vertical folds as issued. Sign shows wear from use w/sliver off upper left and .5" tear at top center. Fine. Gary Keller Collection.
