Item Description
13x18x7.75" deep illustrated cardboard window display box contains complete set (Style #629) by Remco, ©1965. Box has some scattered wear/aging and some creases. 1.5" tear to top front and 2" tear right of bottom center, both tears by window, which is partially loose along top and left/right but remains in place. Box is Fine overall. Nicely illustrated insert backdrop contains hard plastic US Army Air Service Spad XIII bi-plane, tank, armored car w/ammunition wagon and cannon (that fires included shells). Additionally, set has soft plastic "Fighting Men" soldier figures of both German and American soldiers. Tank turret top has half of shaft peg missing but remains in place for display. Aside from this, all contents are NM. Rare set, first we've seen in our 48 years. Gary Keller Collection.
