4.5” tall ribbon badge in white metal with dark finish. Hanger includes cannon barrel, crossed rifles and anchor. Bar below reads “Detroit Mich. Aug. 1891.” Suspended is five point star with a letter on each point “N/E/G/A/R” perhaps standing for New England G.A.R. Star center has his profile facing left surrounded by wreath and his nickname.
