Item Description
These are from 1898 and 11 of the 12 have W&H back paper. Each is 1.25”. Named as “U.S. Battleship” are: Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Oregon, Texas. Named as “U.S. Cruiser” are: Brooklyn, Columbia, New York, Newark. There is also the “U.S. Dynamite Cruiser Vesuvius”, The “U.S. Ram Katahdin” and the “U.S. Torpedo Boat Cushing.” In Row 2 first and third button have tiny age traces and the second button (Brooklyn) has several small cello cracks. In the bottom row the Vesuvius has a few faint age dots barely showing while Katahdin has numerous spots. All have great color and full gloss.
