Item Description
1-1/2x2" nicely designed stamped brass pin w/plastic scarab attachment comes w/2-1/2x4" card that opens to 7-1/2" in length. 1940s premium issued for David Harum serial drama radio program by sponsor B.T. Babbitt Inc., makers of Bab-O soap. Card includes detailed description of the "Egyptian Scarab" pin along w/facsimile signatures of David Harum and Lora Lawton. Lt. wear on card caused by attached pin, blank reverse has small spots of pink coloring. VF. Pin has metal bar fastener on back. Front design includes wings, lotus flower and coiled serpents while at center is a green plastic scarab w/design on reverse of Egyptian man w/two staffs. All of these symbols are explained on the card. Mint. Only one known to us and it realized $299 in Auction #153 decades ago.
