Item Description
11.25x16.25" stiff artboard has mixed media original art for page two of July 2011 issue of "Fear Itself: Fearsome Four." Story deals w/the Fearsome Four (She-Hulk, Howard the Duck, Nighthawk and Frankenstein's Monster) using the Nexus of All Realities to turn themselves into even more monstrous versions of themselves to battle Man-Thing. Part of the "Fear Itself" storyline running through several Marvel comic books the Summer of 2011, first panel of art features all four members of the team, Man-Thing punching Frankenstein (who now has four arms and faces) while Nighthawk (now a monstrous bird creature) and Howard the Duck (now a lizard monster) fly through the air. She-Hulk's legs can be seen at upper left. Second panel features great close-up of Marvel's swamp monster Man-Thing and third panel features close-up of Howard's new lizard face. Last panel features She-Hulk leaping at Man-Thing, her already muscular form bigger than ever before. Frankenstein and Nighthawk are also seen in this panel. Art was for "Part Two: Strange Bedfellows" storyline written by Brandon Montclare w/art by popular comic artist Simon Bisley. While back of artboard has all over red paint applied, this does not affect front's display. Exc. A exceptional Bisley piece loaded w/great images of cult-favorite Marvel characters.
