Item Description
11x17" thin artboard w/pen and ink original art by Keith Pollard w/inks by Joe Rubinstein for page 13 of "Official Handbook Of The Marvel Universe Master Edition" #13 released in Dec. 1991. Art has handwritten title reading "Marvel Universe Master Edition" and matching issue number as well as name of Spider-Man villain and Sinister Six member, the illusionist "Mysterio." Publication featured biographies and art for various Marvel Comics heroes and villains (see following item #1668 for Kingpin art). Artboard features printed blue "Body Type 'A'" male body outline which Pollard has drawn over, presenting three full body images of Mysterio - front, profile and back (w/cape moved away from body). Boots on each image have been re-drawn and pasted over Pollard's original art. Left margin has moderate lead smudging (w/slightly less at right margin), but this does not really affect art, which remains Exc. Pollard has signed his name in pencil at upper left.
