Item Description
11.25x17.25" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for page 13 of May, 2001 issue of "Spider-Man Lifeline." Page features six panels, showing Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange consulting Grand Vizier (Odin's chief adviser and spokesman) about the Lifeline Tablet, which has been stolen by an unscrupulous character. Grand Vizier speaks sagely, much to the disdain of Namor the Sub-Mariner (seen mostly in shadow) in second panel. Dr. Strange muses in third panel about the tablet's fate. Fourth panel shows hands removing tablet from safe, only for person to be startled by Arthur Stacy, who wants to "talk." Art was for "Part Two" Snakes In The Grass" storyline written by Fabian Nicieza w/art by popular comic artist Steve Rude w/inks by Bob Wiacek. Handwritten page number at top right in red ink. Exc.
