Lot of four pieces of early concept original art for the 1937 animated feature film on trimmed/clipped animation sheets (and one not clipped or trimmed) measuring between 5.25x7.5" and 9.5x12". All date to c. 1936. Art is primarily lead pencil and/or red colored pencil. First sheet features fully realized scene w/Doc presiding over three worried-looking Dwarfs. Second sheet shows Doc angrily gesturing and banging gavel. Third sheet shows Doc presiding over meeting w/six other Dwarfs (including Dopey). Fourth sheet shows Doc wildly gesturing w/arm in the air, two other dwarfs also have their arms raised. All have some pin holes and even lt. aging, one w/.5" corner tear. Image areas are o/w VF. All are well-drawn expressive examples. Exceptional lot.
