Item Description
Lot of three typed/mimeographed invoices from Spanish company Rogelio Sanchis (see Spanish sand shovel, previous item #1800). Two of the three invoices have large "Rogelio Sanchis" name at top and are dated 1933 and 1935. Third invoice has logo/name of Arrue y San Martin S. Ltd. (company that took over after Sanchis' death) and is dated 1937. Invoices are in Spanish, though invoiced items translate as toy items. Folded as mailed, invoices show wear w/some penciling and aging. Fine. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection, these are the actual examples shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
