Item Description
Pair of 9.5x10.75x2" deep window display boxes each contain 7" tall doll by Fortune Toy Corp. c. 1955. Lids both feature full figure image of "Fess Parker As Davy Crockett" w/stockade. Davy box has scattered wear w/creases to side panel of lid. Window remains firmly affixed. Fine/VF. Polly box has "Polly Crockett" sticker pasted over Davy's name at top of lid, sticker shows lt. wear. Lid has some scattered age spotting and heavy crease to side panel of lid. Window remains firmly affixed, but w/moderate soiling. Fine. Dolls are hard plastic w/movable arms and heads, sleep eyes, flocked/felt outfits and Davy comes w/actual animal fur coonskin cap. Davy comes w/small brown plastic rifle while Polly comes w/three rifles. Dolls appear unused and are Exc. Polly doll is scarce, both dolls are scarce as boxed.
