Item numbers 978 through 2735 in auction 216
Item Description
Each button is 1.25” and all but three have their back paper explaining “Wear This Button/Watch For Lucky Numbers On Comic Pages Of New York Sunday American For Valuable Prizes.” Two buttons in the set have some age. There are Row 3 #2 which has .5” vertical crack to the left and next to it is “Mac” with noticeable age dots. All other 18 are extremely clean. Probably the first time we’ve ever offered a complete set. With the set comes an additional button from “The Atlanta Georgian” picturing “Tillie.” There are only eight known from this newspaper. This has tiny age stain on left edge and upper left edge has a number of tiny 1/32” cello craze lines barely seen.
